Background Information
Students will be able to attend one of these schools:
- Cedar Home Orphanage
- Christian Teaching Institute
- Dar El Awlad Orphanage
- The Greater Evangelical School
- Nazarene School of Beirut
- Shamlian Armenia Evangelical School
- Torossian Armenian Evangelical School
- There is an additional school that cannot be named for security reasons.
Students will be accepted regardless of their faith background
Scholarship cost is covered in thirds: a third from the parents, a third from the schools, a third from what the listeners will provide. Each portion is crucial – if that is not provided – it will not happen for a child
Middle-school age is a very impressionable time (12-14 years of age)
Private schools are the norm in Lebanon because public schools are sporadic, chaotic and under supported.
No public schools in Lebanon even approach the quality of the worst public school in America
