Operation Outreach
Thanks to the 1,099 of you that pledged your support to reach over 660,000 lives through billboard marketing during Tuesday's Operation Outreach 2007. At 28 cents per person, your commitments of more than $184,000 will allow us to get the word out this Fall so others can find the encouraging Christian music and Bible teaching we provide through 106.9 the Light. Thank you for helping us once again reach the world for Jesus Christ.
For this is what the Lord has commanded us: 'I have made you a light for the
Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'
Acts 13:47, NIV
In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew i power.
Acts 19:20, NIV
NEED
Of the
5.2 million people in the 106.9 the Light listening area,
only 1 in 16 listen. Our goal is to reach 725,000 adults …nearly three-quarters of a million people …
at just 28 cents per person.
PURPOSE
To effectively let people who’ve not heard of 106.9 the Light
know we’re here to serve them as a conduit of God’s love.
HOW
In today’s culture of fast pace, low human interaction, and long amounts of “windshield time”, one of the most effective and cost-efficient means to reach people about 106.9 the Light is through outdoor marketing (billboards). Its effectiveness is enhanced by the advantage of being able to go to the station immediately after seeing the billboard message.
MISSION PROJECT
10% of every gift received will go to the “My Hope ” project of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. These gifts will go to the upcoming project to reach Brazil for Christ, a project so big that it will take two years to carry out in this very nominally Christian country. Since 2002, over 6.2 million people have made commitments for Christ as part of a “My Hope ” project.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
With Billboard outreach, at just 28 cents per person, 357 lives can be reached for only $100.
You can partner by calling 800-293-1069 or online at www.1069thelight.org.
