Troy is a blend of creativity, performance talent, business experience, and entrepreneurial spirit. Although, he graduated with honors from Columbia College with a BA in Film and TV Production, he spent a large part of his professional career in front of the camera. He is nationally recognized as the host of HGTV’s Building Character, TimeLife Music, TV Guide, and guest star appearances on hit television shows. He has also appeared in numerous children’s television shows, corporate training videos, and films as well as a list of Christian programming. On the business side, Troy was the owner and developer of the All Star Sports Center in his hometown of Rhinelander, Wisconsin. He has also served as Vice President of Cloud Nine Productions which specializes in producing syndicated television commercials and radio spots. He was the owner and creator of I-Network News, a company specializing in promoting media gurus, as well as CareerFitter.com (an online career assessment website) and CNAList.com (a website connecting home health care providers with families needing home health care). He has been engaged as a video producer, director, and corporate event speaker both nationally and internationally from Bali to China. Troy and his wife, Rebecca, a clinical psychologist, moved from Los Angeles to the Asheville area in 2007 to raise their 4 year old twins in a family friendly environment. On days off you are likely to find Troy playing with his kids, working on a building project around the house, gardening, or trout fishing. They are active members of their church. Troy and his wife have a passion for coming alongside widows and orphans and reaching lost souls for Christ.
Tricia is living her dream as the Co-Host of the Morning Show on the Light. She has been a listener and fan of the radio station for years. She is very grateful to be a part of providing hope and encouragement to listeners. Originally from Kingsport, Tennessee, Tricia has lived in many places, even toured internationally for a period of time performing Shakespeare. Previous radio experience includes hosting a health focused radio talk show for ABC Radio in New York City and co-hosting a local morning show in the Asheville area. Tricia has a strong background in Health and Fitness, having worked in that arena for many years and performed exercise instruction on local TV stations. Tricia takes her vitamins every day to keep up with her two young sons and super fabulous husband, David.
